Ingrid & Wilfred welcome you to The Coach-House at The Old Rectory - in the village of Emo.
The spacious 'Coachhouse', circa 1785, was formerly a working part of The Old Rectory. It has been tastefully restored with a high vaulted ceiling, traditional cut stone finishes and graceful arches looking out on the rolling pastures of Coolbanagher. Scenically located with private garden and patio areas where children can play safely and, weather permitting, barbecue for dinner. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the peaceful location of The Coach-house, yet be in easy reach of local towns and villages. Perhaps visiting one of the local pubs for a 'traditional night of Irish music' or going to a night club in Portlaoise's '5' star Heritage Hotel. Why not try lawn bowls at The Heritage Country Club?

The Dower House at Emo Court
Emo Court and Gardens are found just in the village - a wonderful place to walk or run. It is surrounded by forests which are also excellent for walking through. There are several good golf courses close by. A perfect base for your holiday in Ireland.
Charges for 2008 in The Coach-house. - these are inclusive of heating, electricity, bed linen and towels.
- May and June 2008 - €395/week
- July and August 2008 - €450/week
- September and October 2008 - €395/week
- Rest of the year - 2008 - 'By request'.
