Dawson House - Vacation rental
Self Catering Accommodation, in Ireland, sleeps 5/6 people
A converted 3 star annexe of the Old Rectory - named after Dawson Deverell who bought the rectory in the early 1950's
The character of The Old Rectory has been maintained with period pieces of furniture and an open fire. The Old Rectory was built c1785 and was originally called 'Coolbanagher Glebe House'. The first occupant was The Hon. Rev. William Dawson - son of Lord Carlow (later Lord Portarlington).... so the name Dawson House is doubly appropriate!
Quaint and spacious - with all modern conveniences. A taste of 'Old Ireland' and a warm welcome awaits our guests- all beds made up (with electric blankets) and a fire set in the open fireplace in the sitting-room.
